Soban

About Soban

Soban is a stylish little Korean restaurant in south London that serves up wholesome, authentic food in chic surrounds. Only a two minute walk away from Raynes Park Rail station, not far from Wimbledon, Soban has a loyal local following and a stellar selection of food. ‘Soban' in Korean means 'small dining table', a piece of furniture that is customary in a traditional Korean home, and the concept for this restaurant is inspired by the taste of authentic, healthy Korean home cooking. The menu offers everything from barbecue grill dishes served on sizzling platters and Korean stews and hot pots to sushi, sashimi, noodles and seafood dishes. The lunch box sets are ideal for express business meetings, and the restaurant is a fun place for group dining. Affordable and friendly, Soban is a little south London gem.

Had a good meal here - some of the sauces accompanying the dishes were really tasty. Tried the grilled eel in teriyaki - would recommend.

Went to soban for the 2nd time as it is local to me. Again really enjoyed it. Service was good although one of the waitress seemed a bit confused. The grilled meats were very tasty. Woul def go again

Soban - pretty average Korean food. We had a late lunch and had to cut it short as they were closing at 3 pm and our waitress, who already had her coat on, stood there waiting for us to leave so that she could lock up. Although she didn't say anything, we felt pretty rushed.

Me and my brother like this restaurant a lot! There's good deal 3 courses dinner for £15 and it's delicious. Nice little gem.
