Balls Brothers of Carey Lane
About Balls Brothers of Carey Lane
Escape the madness of the City with a meal and a drink at Balls Brothers of Carey Lane, another fine restaurant and bar from the Balls Brothers brand serving the best to the most discerning of Londoners. Comfortably timeless in its interior design, Balls Brothers of Carey Lane provides a truly relaxed atmosphere while still feeling, somehow, as if it really is at the centre of things – which, being mere seconds from St Paul’s Cathedral and Cheapside, is exactly what it is. While tables can be reserved in the bar, simply for enjoying a drink and light bite after work or for buttering up a potential business partner with a fine wine from the extensive Balls Brothers cellar, in the dining room things are a little more formal and the menu a little heartier. Classically British, lunches and dinners alike here at Balls Brothers provide a taste of tradition with a sprinkling of favourite international flavours, some excellent sharing platters and very affordable nibbles and boards (mezze, seafood, charcuterie, cheese etc) made to accompany wine.

Lunch at Balls Bros, Carey Lane is a joy. The menu is very good, great value for money, service impeccable and so peaceful. Great lunchtime venue. Highly recommended.
Balls Bros of Carey Lane an excellent venue for lunch/dinner with friends and clients alike. Good menu and quiet venue for either chatting with yr friends or enjoying a business lunch with colleagues. Highly recommended.
We went to Balls Brothers of Carey Lane on Thursday night. First of all, it was not the easiest place to find, so print off map before attempting. The environment was good; like an underground traditional pub. We dined in the restaurant section, which was pretty quiet. Service was good, wine nice, food prompt and tasty. Great value with the 50% OFF food deal.
Worst service and worst food I have experienced anywhere in ten years of business lunches. Truly magnificently awful.
Very enjoyable evening and meal. Helpful and attentive - but not intrusive - staff. The wine flight/boards combination was excellent value and certainly filling. Ambience was a bit flat but then the place was nearly empty by the time we were there. A shame as this venue has a lot to offer.
