Cock & Dragon

About Cock & Dragon

There’s wow factor in every detail here at the Cock and Dragon bar and restaurant in the Cockfosters neighbourhood in Barnet. There are few places in which you’ll find such a carefully well-executed blend of East and West, both in the surroundings and the menu. With tiled fireplaces flanked by oh-so-comfy settees and topped off with mounted game heads the Cock and Dragon manages to create the air of an eclectic British country house in its bar area. In the restaurant meanwhile, there’s an unmistakable taste of Asia in the deep shades and glamorous touches, swagged dark red curtaining, black floral wallpapers and dark wood furnishings. The inspiration behind this exotic look is the Cock and Dragon menu, with its wide ranging Thai, Malaysian and Indonesian menu including banquets, tasting options and a la carte dishes matched to a fantastic wine list. Back in the bar, the more casual menu offers not only Eastern options but a good choice of classic British favourites too.

Lovely food, lovely service and very friendly towards our young children at The Cock_&_Dragon in Cockfosters. We've been before and will definitely go again.

Although I booked a table for 3 ppl we ended up dining for 7. The restaurant dealt very well and quickly with this request - thumbs up! Everyone seemed to be very happy with their food. It was absolutely delicious. I also loved the ambiance of the place. The combination of an old traditional english pub and a modern Thai restaurant works surprisingly well. The service was friendly, but reserved.

Food was tasty but very rich & oily. Not typical for a Thai restaurant. The restaurant was busy but the service was good and the staff friendly.
