The West End branch of this long-established North Indian haunt has proven just as popular in town as in the counties. Tandoori Nights has pleasant modern decor with influences of the Raj and a lively, friendly ambience that makes the very mixed clientele feel most welcome. Stick to favourites like onion bhaji or chicken tikka, or try starters of salmon boasabor (Goan spice) or hazarvi kebab (grilled cheese-marinated chicken), and mains like lamb cutlets or saag gosht. What they do with king prawns here is nobody's business - try the king prawn peri peri or king prawns with garlic, or any of the fish dishes. A great place to meet in a great location.

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal here! Opted for my favourite Chicken Tikka Masala and it was good cooked really well! Atmosphere was good, very buzzy and nice crowd in! Staff were friendly and attentive, but not overbearing! Decor was smart as well. Would definitely go back again and location is very handy for theatreland!
We had hoped that this restaurant was good Indian cuisine - it isn't! It's a curry house after a few too many drinks. We both chose a house speciality, one cicken one lamb and could not taste any difference in the thick glue called a sauce - disappointing to say the least.
we had a great meal with our family over the holidays. the service was attentive but no overbearing. the food was enjoyed by all of us. would return happily.

Good curry and a buzzing atmostphere when we went on a Saturday night. We went on the £15 offer for 3 courses - good value. Only negative is that the coffee is aweful (instant) and the ice-cream (the desert) isn't great, so I would say its great for what you go for ie curry, but i think the extras (ice-cream and coffee) they perhaps should not do and stick to what they are good at - which is tasty curries at a reasonable price.
