The Markham Inn

About The Markham Inn

Located in London’s Chelsea Green, halfway between South Kensington and Sloane Square tube stations, The Markham Inn is a local London gem loved by Chelsea locals, stylish socialistas and serious gourmands alike. Just off of the King’s Road on Elystan Street, The Markham Inn has a seriously hip dining room and the energy here is palpable. Always filled with a fashionable yet low-key crowd, the restaurant offers British, Italian and French dishes and the head chef Mark Blatchford works closely with British suppliers to offer well sourced, fresh ingredients, cooked beautifully and presented simply. Open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner all week and brunch and Sunday roasts on the weekends, The Markham Inn is the place to be if you want a genuinely local Chelsea experience away from the hustle and bustle of the King’s Road and Sloane Square.

Good food, lacklustre staff. Wine disappointing, corked so sent it back, got another glass of pretty much the same but couldn't be bothered to complain. Waiter looked like he couldn't care less!

I've been to the Markham Inn a few times and it just gets better and better! The food is delicious - and I have to say value for money. The two course set menu at £15 is really reasonable. Food was fresh. My friends and I all left really quite full and very happy!

The Markham Inn, Chelsea, London. An excellent meal, in a relaxed and friendly environment. The seared tuna was delicious.
