Caxton Grill
About Caxton Grill
The Caxton Grill is a warm and relaxed neighborhood restaurant in London’s St James’s serving delicious and honest food, founded on seasonal and local ingredients. The restaurant’s luxe décor, stylish clientele and attentive and friendly service creates an engaging and informal dining experience for those looking for an upmarket local London experience. Head chef Hus Vedat – a follower of the ‘field to fork’ movement - uses locally sourced, seasonal and sustainable ingredients to create the Caxton Grill’s modern European menu and all the kitchen’s signature dishes are prepared using a Josper grill, an indoor charcoal oven which gives meat and fish a succulent smoky, charcoal characteristic. The Caxton Terrace is popular for summertime pre-dinner drinks and overlooks a tree-planted courtyard, and the Caxton Grill is a chic choice for both time-sensitive business lunches and more leisurely daytime meals as well as dinner.

Little Gem tucked away on Caxton St. The service was a little overly attentive at times but the food was excellent. The steaks are the signature but fish and chips was very good too. Portion size was just right.
Warm and friendly staff, calm and relaxing environment. Food was delicious although we did have to send mains back as they were cold - but when eventually replaced they were delicious - it was shame they did not come out right first time. Good value - will definitely return.
The food was lovely and my main meal which was the special red mullet with chorizo was especially good. The presentation was faultless. One of my colleagues however did say their main was not very warm. The service was good however they did leave us sometimes for too long and there was no-one around to ask for more drinks.
The service and food at the Caxton Grill in St James's Park was excellent. We went as a group of three at lunch time. The food was served promptly and everyone was happy with their choices. I would recommened for business lunches or a lunchtime treat. Prices are as you would expect in a place like this.
The caxton Grill promises a lot, but when we wnet it was rather crowded - tables too close for comfort , service slow and food only adequate
