    Los Charly’s Orchestra is a project created by Venezuelan producers Juan Laya and Jorge Montiel. Combining a retro and exhilarating modern sound, Los Charly’s Orchestra are characterised by a unique edge that blends the Boogie-Disco sound of the 70's with a seriously latin perspective. Among some of the talented members of the Charly's Orchestra are Ace Neo Soul icon Xantone Blacq, singers Portia Emare, Stuart Lisbie and Dana Svodova, Brazilian bass player Matheus Nova, Keyboardist Milt Mavrakakis, Guitarrist Phil Stevenson and Venezuelan percussionist Wilmer Sifontes and many others. The band has worked in collaboration with some of the most prolific producers of the contemporary scene such as Faze Action, Phil Asher, Pete Herbert and Joey Negro with a series of releases in the past 3 years. An absolute total delight of the global funk, soul and disco scene. After their set, DJ Jorge Montiel spins a melting pot of boogaloo, funk, vintage soul, swing and disco.
