Bromley Museum
About Bromley Museum
Local museum housed in a medieval/post-medieval building standing in formal and informal gardens. Displays include the archaeology of the London Borough of Bromley and the life and work of Sir John Lubbock, first Lord Avebury, (the person responsible for giving this country its Bank Holidays).
The museum runs a regular programme of temporary exhibitions throughout the year, both by the museum and outside groups.
