Toptable says about Artisan
Located just moments from Green Park, Artisan is tucked away inside The Westbury - one of Mayfair's most prestigious hotels. Executive Chef Andrew Jones, a former Roux scholar, has created an innovative modern British menu and uses only the finest seasonal produce in dishes like carpaccio of wild mushrooms with citrus vinaigrette; Aberdeen Angus fillet with baby leeks and truffle butter; and the deliciously tender roast Devonshire lamb with aubergine, sorrel and basil jus. The dining room reflects the elegant simplicity of the menu with its parquet flooring, oak tables and champagne coloured walls. Artisan's sommelier is on hand to guide diners through the extensive wine list and the charming staff will ensure that your meal is one you never forget.

Eating at Artisan was a real dining experience. Between each course we had a variey of entres which were both unusual and tasty! The meal felt like seven courses instead of three and we were left very full and thinking the food was very good value for money. One word of caution, the wine list starts at around £30 a bottle and filter coffees £5 each.
The Artisan is a delightful discovery. One word describes the food, exquisite. The courses were lovely, well cooked and beautifully presented. And there were many surprises between courses: immaginative tidbits served with great style. I think the chef should be Michelin starred.
The only thing I didn't like was having only a wall for my view. Whenever possible, I like a mirror on the back wall so that every diner feels integral to the whole dining experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Artisan. The food was first rate, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended.
Fantastic restaurant, beautiful food and surroundings in prime London location. Would definitely recommend this especially when coupled with top table deal. Not only get your 3 courses but also sample tasters in between courses. Beautiful food.
We visited Artisan for the special 3 course dinner and champagne for £30. As per previous recommendations we kept expecting all the extras to be, well extra. But the deal is amazing for the money. You receive canapes, palette cleansers and chocolates along with tasty starter, main course and desert. The service is attentive without being too over the top.
It's a great deal as long as you don't start looking at the wine menu which is pretty hefty. Don't let that put you off though.
