Very nice food and restaurant ended up getting absolutely packed on a Friday night. Great value with BYO.
Hanoi Cafe sits amongst a plethora of other eateries on the Kingsland Road, the slightly grottier side of Hoxton. Not sure if it was down to it being a Sunday evening but the place was pretty much empty when we arrived and stayed pretty much like that for the rest of the stay. The food however was excellent and reasonably priced so the lack of ambience was not terminal.
Empty when we arrived, worried we had made the wrong choice. By the time we left its was packed with people queing out the door. Nice simply laid out menu with enough choice but not to much. Friendly, welcoming staff. Food was good and price very reasonable. Would definitely go again well done Hanoi Cafe.
It was the third time i have been to Hanoi Cafe in Hoxton, London and it certainly did not disappoint. Great place to go after work, food is great and great value for money and the service is always friendly and fast.
Hanoi Cafe on Kingsland Road is fast becoming a favorite of mine and my friends as the place to eat on what we call the 'Hanoi Strip'. There are so many Vietnamese restaurants to choose from on Kingsland Road, we have been to about 5 so far. Hanoi Cafe is the place we have been to the last three times. Whether it is big groups of 10 for smaller groups the service is fast and very friendly, including recommending dishes for those unused to the cuisine. Great value for money and authentic tastes.
