Harrods - The Georgian Restaurant

About Harrods - The Georgian Restaurant

As much an institution as the store itself, Knightsbridge’s Georgian Restaurant is set within the world famous Harrods department store. The epitome of elegance, the Georgian Restaurant harks back to the days when men wore hats and women shopped for kid gloves in these hallowed rooms. It’s an opulent and special setting with a wholly classic British feel, still as gloriously atmospheric as it was on its opening day all those years ago. It comes as little surprise to discover that The Georgian Restaurant offers an entirely British carvery style menu. Delicate and quintessentially English, afternoon tea here is an absolute must after a hard day shopping in the departments below.

Harrods in Knightsbridge was a very pleasant experience, amazing food and you even get a doggy bag for the food you can't manage!

Always a pleasure, fantastic food although they have put the prices up a little which means it's not quite as good value.

Venue-Georgian Restaurant Harrods,Knightsbridge. SW1X Our first xmas with our grand daughter aged 11months. She was mesmerised by the glittering xmas trees. Slightly disappointed with the food. I ordered caesar salad but was informed there would be no chicken. The anchovies in the salad was too salty, not edible. Omellete was good although too expensive for what it was.

Georgian Restaurant, Harrods, London We probably picked a bad time, having a late lunch and with the change over to high tea taking place. The food was somewhat overcooked although the friendliness and service from the staff compensated.
