Rossopomodoro

About Rossopomodoro

Kensington Park Road’s Rossopomodoro is perfectly situated to cater to tourists, visitors and locals alike. Part of a well respected chain, Rossopomodoro is a contemporary, attractive take on the neighbourhood Neapolitan restaurant with good food, friendly service and more than pleasant surroundings. With hot red hints the décor is stylish, clean and modern while the buzz from couples, groups of friends and office workers gives the dining room a welcoming vibe. The wood fired pizzas are straight from original Neapolitan recipes, cooked and served fresh with simple flavour combinations which allow the ingredients, imported fresh from Italy, to speak for themselves. In a Notting Hill flooded with overcomplicated eateries and pretentious menus, Rossopomodoro is a breath of fresh air

Went to Rossopomodoro in Notting Hill on Friday with a large group (11 of us). Had to wait for about 40 minutes after ordering to get our mains, but considering the time of the evening, 9pm, and the size of our group it wasn't too bad. We were very pleased with our pizzas. A few ordered risotto which was a bit watery but still nice. Nice wine, very good priced.

Not speedy service while the restaurant get more customers. Even the pizzas are ready, waiters are not that quick. We could see how they work from upstairs closely!

The ambient was toooo warm! We were sweating when we were eating. Not so comfortable at all. The pizza was ok but the it was so hot that we decided to leave just after eating it. Maybe the reason was the oven since we were in the second floor but not the best experience at all...
