Maramia Café

About Maramia Café

Proudly proclaiming themselves to be one of the first Palestinian restaurants in the UK, Maramia Café brings fresh, healthy, flavourful Middle Eastern cuisine to west London. With its warm welcome, efficient service and simply delicious food, it’s not difficult to see why Maramia Café is a favourite not just with your average Notting Hill-ite, but also with the likes of television newsreader Jon Snow and none other than David Cameron and wife Samantha who have been spotted relaxing over Sunday brunch here. The Maramia menu includes an appealing selection of hot and cold mezze – all freshly prepared and carefully seasoned, Palestinian ‘sandwiches’ served in Arabic flatbreads and mouth-watering grilled meat and fish mains, cooked to family recipes. For dessert, sample a range of traditional Palestinian cakes and pastries and to drink, you can either indulge in fresh mint tea or try some wine, specially imported from Bethlehem.

Maramia Cafe' has great food, service, and a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. I can't believe I have lived in Notting Hill for so long and have only just discovered it, I will definitely be back!

We had a pleasant experience at Maramia Cafe. The owner & staff were very friendly. We had the £19.95 party menu whcih included mixed mezze starter, & lamb with rice as main. Food was good, but the main dish lacked vegatables. However, they had made a vegetarian dish to cater for any potential vegaterian in the party (none of us were), but they let us helped ourselves with the vegetarian dish, which was lovely & tasty, it made the lamb dish less dry & much more complete with the vegetables.

Delicious food cooked with passion and finesse - what more can one ask for? One of us ordered the king prawns which were literally sourced from the fishmonger next door - gutted and cleaned properly! We completely felt the chef's love and care that went into the already sumptuous and well-presented food. Will no doubt return.

Restaurant decor a bit tired, but the food makes up for it. Good sized portions, well cooked food. The sausages (starters) were especially tasty.

Maramia Cafe, London W10 5PR. Although we'd booked the 2 course menu (meze and main course) we splashed out on more food because it was moreish and shareable. We also tried the expensive (£35/bottle) Palestinian/Israeli red wine. Gorgeous! While it was nice having the restaurant to ourselves and the waiters undivided attention, more diners would've improved the ambience. This little gem of a Cafe is well worth coming west for. The ladies toilet needs need some attention however.
