Excellent food, great wine, very pleasant setting. Overall would definitely recommend for either romantic meal, dinner with friends, or impressive business dinner.

Good food, nice atmosphere. Would return if in the area again.

We had a fantastic meal at Angelus - we've eaten at several Michelin starred restaurants in London, and this beats them all. The atmosphere is friendly and cosy without being cramped and noisy and the staff are the right balance of friendly-but-unobtrusive: this includes the chef, who came out to help us choose our courses for the tasting menu, and altered a couple to suit our taste. Food was stunning (I particularly recommend the hare) and the sommelier did an excellent job of matching wines.

Despite living quite near by, I have only just become aware of this restaurant (it is somewhat hidden away) and this was my first visit to it. I thought it excellent and I will certainly go again. The menu is not cheap but the are two and three course menu options which are competitively priced. I couldn't fault either the food or the service. The staff were charming .

Tightly packed restaurant, efficiently run, good menu, greet wines (some big prices tho') food was excellent, service a little allow at times, wine wasn't topped up enough, but staff generally good. Nice bar area at back, good ambience, if a little noisy at times, but was busy and so well liked. Would recommend.....
