Some of our party came late however we were never rushed. Our server was great and gave us a heads up for any delays in the food. The roast beef was great and so was the chicken. Great place to have Sunday lunch.

The bull and last Kentish town certainly has a lot of competition what with some new venues opening. I must say that it is by far and beyond the best in nw5.

We went to The Bull & Last in Highgate on Sunday for the first time after a friend recommended it. We were glad we had made a reservation since it was very packed. We felt however really well looked after by the waiters there and enjoyed the buzz . I had a parsnip soup and Sunday roast which was delicious, the beef cooked to perfection. Presentation was great. We also tried their home made ice cream which was such a treat. We paid £76 for 2 courses each, dessert and drinks. We must go back.

Food was absolutely superb, bit it seemed like the kitchen was struggling a bit with a full restaurant to serve. We were in no hurry though, so thoroughly enjoyable
