There have been several makeovers over the years, the recent adding a bold touch of modernity to the overall cosiness. But Bumbles’ heart has remained constant: generous portions of first-class British food served with a smile. Roll up for up such classics as bangers and mash, lambs’ liver, and Speyside sirloin. With fish of the day and pasta for pescetarians and vegetarians. Genuinely good value. Bumbles Restaurant diners should allow at least 1.5hrs for a meal during early evening service.

We visited Bumbles for a Lunch in May. Service was very good, staff friendly. Our booking was at teh incorrect time (an error on toptables part) but Bumbles were accomadating and got us seated swiftly. Food was of good quality, if a little on the small side.
Bumbles Restaurant in Victoria is a hidden gem. A small menu but I could eat every main course and be impressed. The staff and service are wonderful, meals come at a natural interval to allow good conversation; not rushed, but never waiting long either. For desserts, the peanut butter soufflé was fantastic, and the pineapple crumble is so impressive, we insist someone at the table orders it!
Had the "Taste of Mr. Bumble" menu - a fantastic selection of tastes and textures. Loved it.
Two friends came up from Oxford for a special Florence Nightingale service and asked me to book Bumbles in Buckingham Palace Road as it is a London 'must' for them. We had the £10 set menu which has to be the best in town and the house red was as good as ever. Amazing Bumbles!
Went to Bumbles for a pre-theatre meal and it was lovely. The starter of smoked haddock and poached egg was delicious, sea bream and pork was an interesting and unusual combination that worked really well. Didn't have time for desserts but they looked amazing on table next to us so will definitely be going back!
