Located on Wimbledon Hill Road, right by Wimbledon train station and underground, Suk Saran Thai restaurant is the latest addition to Sukho group which includes the successful central London restaurants Suksan in Chelsea and Sukho in Fulham. This up-market Thai restaurant boasts an extensive menu, discreet service and an elegant interior. Red silk panels and ornate wooden carving adorn the walls of Suk Saran’s immaculately laid out dining room, bringing a touch of Thailand to leafy Wimbledon. Suk Suran’s authentic Thai menu features popular dishes like moo ping e-sarn - chargilled marinated organic pork loin, Thai herbs and a spicy tamarind sauce; and guoy tiew kee mao - spicy rice noodles with chicken in a chilli black bean sauce. With food this good it is no wonder that Suk Saran’s loyal army of followers make a habit of dining here on a regular basis and on any pretext at all.

The atmosphere is nice and comfy. The service was not bad but our mains took about 30 mins to be served after our starters. Don't know why it took so long as meals were not any difficult meals and customers who had arrived before and after us got their food before us. They did say sorry for delay but no clear explanation was given. When it did arrive, it was ok. Then they nearly charged for wine that we did not even have. So not great feeling of the place but the food is fine.

Suk Saran, Wimbledon, London Came here for dinner for the first time with my mum last night, in my opinion the food was tasty and well presented the staff were polite, lovely setting and décor etc. If I had to grumble about anything it would be that the food wasn’t hot enough and the waiters could have been a little more attentive. ** On the starter I would suggest the - Coloured steamed dumplings, very pretty, tasty and one dumpling in particular was rather interesting, the content was

Amazing food in a very convenient setting close to the station. Service can be a bit workmanlike at times but still acceptable. Slightly pricey but some of the best Thai food I have had in the capital

Attentive, friendly but inobtrusive service.Food was very tasty with lovely presentation. Would recommend.
