The latest in a long line of restaurants headed up by the Chowdury family since way back in 1957, Gufaa in London’s Angel is the result of years of practice and experience. Situated amongst the bars and shops of trendy Upper Street, Gufaa makes the perfect stop off before hitting the local nightlife but is equally the kind of relaxed, friendly restaurant you can make a night of. Decorated in a contemporary, light and simple style, Gufaa has an upmarket look, suited to everything from business lunches to romantic dining. The recipes explored on Gufaa’s expansive menu have been passed down from generation to generation, resulting in dishes which are authentic and delicious, inspired by the flavours of the whole Subcontinent, from north to south, east to west.
