The Fest Restaurant and Bar

About The Fest Restaurant and Bar

The Fest restaurant and bar in Fulham brings a year-round Oktoberfest to London, with everything from beer to bratwurst imported direct from the famous German beer festivals suppliers. Work up a thirst with the small but spicy snack salami, then tuck into the hearty pork knuckle: 900g of succulent pork on the bone, roasted till crisp and served with chips, sauerkraut and gravy. Meat-centric though it is, Fest takes care of vegetarians with a delicious wild mushroom and rice strudel filled with brandy sauce, also served with chips and gravy. But save room for the authentic apple strudel – it’s sehr gut!

Went to Fest in Fulham with work colleagues on a thursday night, quiet. I think there was only two parties eating as well as us although the bar area was a little busier. I had previously been to the Bavarian Beer House in City Road and i guess expected the same thing. The atmosphere was nowhere as good as the BBH but that may have been because it was a thursday. The food however was good and the Bratwurst was excellent.

The Oktoberfest was great. Lots of good german draught beer, sausage, meat, chicken and pork. Just be aware it is more of a pub than a restaurant and you will enjoy it!

I had dinner here with my husband on a Friday evening. The place has more of a bar atmosphere. It was relatively quiet until a large group turned up for a celebration. It's a good place for a group event, but not so much for a dinner out.
