Corney & Barrow at Paternoster Square could be so good but the service does need to improve a bit. The food came quickly and was very nice (and I would recommend it for that) but we were initially seated right at the entrance by the door (in January) when there were plenty of spare seats futher inside (and out of the draughts) and had hardly got our coats off before they came round to ask about drinks - felt rushed. The wrong drinks were initially brought to us, but this was quickly rectified.

We went for lunch and the service was fine, nothing to write home about as was the food. A nice place in Paternoster Square for lunch.

Consistent City Bar - As long as its not too Busy the Service is usually pretty good here. Went down to Support this place because a Shanty Town has emerged outside St Pauls - So makes access hard unless you have a booking. Massive buyer of the Home Made Burger - and with 50% off t he food at lunch - this was great value.

I took customers for lunch and the table we were given was perfect however I felt the table service could have been improved. The wrong drinks were delivered and the cutlery wasn't replaced after the starter, just removed from the plates and put back onto the table. I asked for replacements and this was fine. The meaks were reasonably priced and I'd suggest a place to go with colleagues/friends but not customers.
