A family run Indian restaurant in the suburban neighbourhood of Sheen on the very outskirts of London, Lal Bagh Indian Cuisine has been a local favourite since 1998. Elegantly appointed, the Lal Bagh dining room with its glass frontage overlooking the high street combines classic décor with modern touches, resulting in a clean, comfortable environment with a gently buzzing atmosphere and polite, unobtrusive and unfailingly efficient service. Mr Chowdhury and his family, owners of Lal Bagh since its opening, determined to provide authenticity as well as a memorable dining experience, have created a menu that combines the old favourites of the Indian restaurants including high quality curries and tandoori dishes, as well as unique concoctions particular to Lal Bagh and other less known authentically cooked traditional regional recipes. A dessert menu is equally varied, including Western offerings, ice cream for younger visitors and proper Indian desserts such as kulfi.
