Rhodes W1 definitely deserves its Michelin star. Nice room - quite on the glam side and can imagine it perfect for a romantic dinner. I booked a business lunch there and recommend you ask for a round table which gives lots of privacy for clandestine dealmaking. The set price menu is an absolute steal and dishes come from the a la carte menu.
The puddings are a highlight so skip starter if you have a sweet tooth. Impeccable service. Excellent for top end West End dining.
Not shown to our table at Rhodes W1 main restaurant for 30 mins past booked time, and had been seated in wrong waiting area, so no pre-lunch care and service eg drinks. Food lovely but small portions. 2 courses for £17.50 offer we expected not available. Wine ridiculously expensive. Table service good, ambience good, and we were allowed to linger. Overall fairly good, but I wouldn't return.
Rhodes W1 was quiet at lunch time which rather spoilt the ambience. Service was friendly and efficient, the lunch menu provided a good range of choices. The food was very well cooked and presented although portions were small. A very extensive wine list but the prices seemed high even for a top central London restaurant.
Exceptional food, exquisitely presented and served with enthusiasm. Highly recommend. Portions are not huge but experience was great.
Great food and atmosphere, would definitely recommend.
