Browse a large collection of books covering all aspects of life in London at Guildhall Library in the City.
At the heart of the library are more than 200,000 printed materials from the 15th to the 21st centuries covering London and its history. Among the areas covered are family history, business and parliamentary material, maritime history, newspapers and English law documents.
Material held by the library includes the archives of 80 City livery companies, the Lloyd's Marine Collection and the London Stock Exchange.
Look out for one-off events, including talks covering a range of topics from aspects of London ‘s architectural and cultural history to focusing on specific treasures held by the library.
