About Simply Indian

A small, attractive modern Asian restaurant, Simply Indian is to be found just moments from South London’s Borough High Street and the famed food market. The restaurant’s unfussy black and yellow interior leads in to a light, airy dining room decorated in white with a minimalist style that maximises space and produces a buzzy, brasserie-esque atmosphere helped along by friendly service from staff who work to your time scales, speeding up your lunch break meals while providing a more leisurely experience at other times. Simply Indian’s menu embraces the most popular cuisine styles of India, serving traditional curries, exotic regional dishes and street food style thalis too, all cooked fresh on the premises using appropriate high quality ingredients and to authentic recipes. The restaurant has a BYO policy, which only serves to make dining here even more affordable, the prices low for the area, especially when it comes to Simply Indian’s trademark buffets.

Excellent food, reasonably priced. Well worth a visit for that alone.

Simply Indian was a good restaurant the food was a fusion of flavours with different dishes from the main stream indian restaurants. The price was very reasonable but the portions were small. However the only problem that we had was that we were located near the door and the cold icy draft that came in did not make the meal enjoyable and they faile dto move us to a different table. By the end of the meal our limbs were numb with the cold.

I had a lovely, relaxed evening with work colleagues and we all loved the food. A pleasantly diverse menu, good service and BYO is refreshing. Definitely recommend for food, service and ambience.

We had an excellent meal at Simply Indian in London. It is a tiny little restaurant with a BYO policy which keeps the costs down. We all thought the food was of great quality, really tasty dishes and lovely that the owner comes out and serves too. Excellent and will be returning for sure.

Not amazing I have to say, you are hemmed in to the point where youc an walk to the loos, and beware even the midest dishes are spicy. We were rushed out by the staff who brought us the bill before we even asked. Wouldnt return
