Prince Albert
About Prince Albert
The Prince Albert restaurant in London’s Camden is a classic English boozer that’s been transformed into a hip pub and restaurant without losing its air of relaxed comfort. The glazed olive tiles on the outside are still there and the al fresco tables in the beer garden, while inside, the floors are scrubbed wood, no two of the vintage chairs are a pair, the wooden tables don’t mind if you lean on them and the ambience is chilled as can be. The Prince Albert is always full of models, media types and local devotees who love the traditional British menu and the friendly vibe. The Prince Albert’s menus are there on the blackboard so they can change frequently to reflect the market and the seasons. Signature dishes include beef tomato and Brixham crab with guacamole, basil and herb oil; and Elwy Valley lamb roasted with rosemary, shallots, garlic and tomatoes.

The Prince Albert is great. Tucked away in Camden. Food was amazing and the service was even better. Will be heading back for sure.
First time at the Prince Albert and I will definitely be returning! Relaxed atmosphere, scrumptious food and excellent service. Great value for money!
Went for lunch with a friend to the Prince Albert, London. Great menu, good service, nice drinks. Good all rounder. Lovely inside too, nice decor. Definitely recommend. The Fish and Chips were brilliant :-)
Monday night at The Prince Albert, Camden, London, dinner for 2. Unfortunately we discovered that the upstairs restaurant we were planning to eat in is always closed Sunday -Wed nights. However, nice traditional type London Pub ground floor. Most customers there eating too. Liked the place enough to go back on a day upstairs is open, as it has good reviews. Good welcome and service. Steaks good, (ask for warm plates when you order ..)
The Prince Albert in Camden is a nice choice for a pub off the High St. Food is of very good quality and reasonably priced. Only markdown is for communication. Booked for a post-birthday celebration. When we arrived we found out there was a private function in their upstairs dining room, so we sat downstairs in the main pub area. Would have been good to communicate this so we would have had the option to go elsewhere for this occation. Were offered a free drink each which was a nice gesture.
