Founded in 1970, Old Street's Ravello restaurant pre-dates the Shoreditch-cool revolution. This friendly, family-run restaurant has stood the test of time remarkably well, constantly gaining new customers whilst still maintaining the regulars who return time and time again for the good Italian food and impeccable service. Remodelled over the years to keep the dining room fresh and attractive, Ravello nonetheless has an authenticity to it thanks to the beautifully painted impressions of Italian vistas, the low beamed ceilings and the large arched windows. Presented with numerous awards - including the title of Most Authentic Italian Food in London from no less than the President of Italy, Ravello offers a traditional and delicious take on food of the Campania.

Ravello on Old Street is nice. There is a slight sense of faded glory about the place, but the food was good quality and the staff were lovely.
Food was hearty and nice. the desert however was not fresh, the service was good but we were however stung on the hidden cover charges which defeated the purpose of the deal
Given it was a weekend evening, the restaurant was quiet and lacked ambience. This was not helped by the music getting repeatedly stuck without being changed. The service was quick, but perhaps too efficient - we finished 3 courses, a glass of wine and coffee within an hour. The food was fresh and well made but wasn't anything outstanding and so the deal wasn't particularly good value for money. I don't think I will be revisiting.
Small, friendly, family run business. Limited choice for food but at good value with TT offer. Pleasant experience but probably won't re-visit.
Ravello Restaurant 46 - 48 Old Street, London, EC1V 9AQ Friendly service and agreeable food served in a pleasant environment. The food could have been a little hotter, but we would go again if in the area.
