Richoux

About Richoux

An iconic London institution, Richoux is the place to sip and be seen in central London. Perfect for posh pre-theatre bites, business breakfasts and afternoon tea this renowned restaurant chain dates back to 1909 when it opened as a prestigious patisserie and confectioner in the capital. Needless to say, the puddings and cakes here are to die for, and the St John's Wood branch of Richoux – located on Circus Road – is a hop and a skip away from Lord's cricket ground and a short stroll from Abbey Road and the London Zoo. The classic cafe menu at Richoux is filled with old-school favourites, and we adore the eggs Benedict with English ham, and the classic Richoux club sandwich.

Three of us dined at the St John's Wood branch of Richoux for lunch yesterday. The service was fine and the lunch was excellent. Everyone had a variation on fish and all enjoyed their selections. The atmosphere is fine and the neighbourhood pleasant.

Revisited here again very quickly but at a different time and again very busy. This is a very popular restaurant with the "Trendy" people of St Johns Wood. Well worth a visit

We had an afternoon tea at Richoux in St.John's Wood for the second time in the last few months. We were too full to finish everything but the sandwiches, scones and cakes were all delicious. We'll definitely go back!
