Paradise By Way Of Kensal Green

About Paradise By Way Of Kensal Green

Kitsch and quirky, with a sense of fun and the kind of style only found in our fair capital, Paradise by way of Kensal Green oozes charm from every bohemian nook and unconventional cranny. Charmingly mismatched furniture, surprising oil paintings and wood panelling give the impression of a stately home given over to debauched revelry and the indulgence of youth. The pride and joy of Paradise by way of Kensal Green is undoubtedly the menu which makes the venue a gastropub with a real, very noticable difference. Fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, seasonally picked by Head Chef Tim Payne, make for a temptingly different, ever-changing menu combining the new and inventive with old favourites.

Paradise is as usual lovely. We had to wait for the table around 30 minutes, but the friendly staff kept us happy waiting. My friends food was amazing and honestly I was dissapointed with my fish dish as it was very bland... Other than that I had a good time.

Good food (had lamb & duck) and rich puddings. Side dish of potatoes was small for £3.50. Place was busy and waiter friendly but a bit rushed. Would recommend on the 50% offer.

I have been to paradise many times before and the food has always been fantastic. We went last night as a treat to celebrate the end of a big project and the service and food were not up to standard. The main ingredient of my starter was missing, they forgot our main courses and the waiter told us that he had a lot to do and was very busy when I told him that I liked the wine. When our main courses finally arrived, they were cold. We were pretty disappointed and know it can be a lot better.

Paradise By Way of Kensal Green is a lovely restaurant...really buzzing but intimate atmosphere and serving seasonal food that is cooked beautifully. I love dining here - and have done so for nearon 3 years now! A firm favourite by far!
