Bugis Street Brasserie

About Bugis Street Brasserie

Hugely popular both with locals and visitors, the Bugis Street Brasserie is situated in the luxurious Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London’s upmarket Kensington. This comfortable and chilled out bistro styled dining room is probably the most relaxed dining choice the glamorous four star Millennium Gloucester has to offer and, as such, it appears to have the most diverse crowd, ranging from businessmen with loosened ties to hungry tourists fresh from the sights and, of course, Kensington’s notorious ladies who lunch, putting their Louboutins up over dinner. The Bugis Street Brasserie is decorated in a neutral colour scheme, with tiled flooring, wood panelled bar and ceiling fans evoking an almost American feel, while service is (it perhaps goes without saying) of the very highest standard, both friendly and professional. Known for its Cantonese and Singaporean food, the Bugis Street Brasserie provides a sophisticated but authentic Eastern cuisine, served in a setting very different from the usual Asian restaurant.

Bugis Brasserie felt truly like Asia which was a lovely feeling. Staff was polite and welcoming and the food hit many notes and spots. Ingredients were fresh with multitude layers of flavours particularly the laksa. The fried noodles were al dente as well cooked and quality egg noodles should be. It was also good for the pocket as prices were reasonable.

Bugis Street/South Kensington: earliest booking for Sunday lunch 3pm after a buffet service. Good authentic Asian food, the Penang Kway Teow was excellent, perhaps a bit too spicy but very tasty! And sizzling beef very good. Definitely worth more visits

Early evening meal at Bugis Street Brasserie very near to Gloucester Rd Tube. Convenient place to meet a friend, efficient service and good quality Asian food. Atmosphere is a bit clinical but good value overall.

Very convenient for a decent Singaporean bite. The menu is quite varied and the food is good but nothing exceptional. Service is quick and friendly. Good value for money and great offer for Sunday lunch.
