The Orange is one of my favourite restaurants, but yesterday evening wasn't as good as usual. My guests didn't love their main dishes and the table next to us was rather loud and distracting. However, the desserts were flawless, the staff amazing (as always) and overall, a pleasant, but not top notch supper.

Good atmosphere and service. Food was decent but more lunch than dinner fare.

Cool atmosphere, we sat by the fireplace which add a nice touch of cosy intimate atmosphere on a raining evening. The food was very good, we had Spiced potted Kilravock Farm pork, apple caramel, crackling, toast to start which was recommended by the waitress which was delicious. My cod my was cooked perfectly and the Treacle tart, with honeycomb ice cream to end the meal. The staff are cheerful, charming, knowledgeable and efficient. I would heartily recommend The Orange!

As usual The Orange is a great place to eat and drink. Great atmosphere too. Staff can be a little grumpy and unfriendly on occassion, moreso in the restaurant than the bar.
