Café Naz

About Café Naz

Brick Lane is bustling with curry houses, bakeries and hip bars, and Café Naz – with its Indian-brasserie style interior, is one of the oldest and most famous restaurant in the lane. The dining room at Café Naz is decorated with a glass staircase, loud splashes of yellow, purple and lime green, and plenty of potted palms. The jovial atmosphere is perfect for family nights out, late-night curries and fun parties – and the servings here are huge. We recommend the hyderabadi achar gost – chunks of lamb slow-cooked on the bone and served in a rich curry sauce with limes and spices – washed down with a bottle Kingfisher or Cobra beer.

Cafe Naz-good food, plenty of room and good service. We were all delighted with the whole evening and would recommend to anyone.

This was a very friendly restaurant. They were very considerate concerning a gluten free/wheat allergic member of our party. We had very attentive table service throughout the night. The resturant was very quiet for a Saturday night, though perhaps this was because of the demonstrations around Brick Lane and Liverpool Street on the Saturday we chose to visit. Around £90 for four people including wines, beer and starters and mains. In all very price competitive. Lovely bathroom facilities.

Cafe Naz, London There are so many restaurants on Brick Lane that we really appreciated Top Table's guidance. Cafe Naz was good and the food tasty. When we complained about one dish they did give us free ice cream.

We normally come during the lunch time but this time it was for an evening meal with friends. The staff were as cordinal as usual, as they know me by face. The starter was attractively presented. Marinated and grilled paneer particularly looked good. We had different types of curry and they were distinctly flavoured and we all enjoyed. If only suggestion was to be made, I recommend that perhaps the restaurant can experiment seasonal/dish of the month to introduce something new.
