Camden Brasserie

About Camden Brasserie

A favourite London restaurant with everyone from local businessmen to politicos and celebrities, Camden Brasserie is a family-run restaurant with plenty of charm. Simple and classy, the Camden Brasserie is a place where customers return time and time again, celebrating landmark occasions with loved ones in a restaurant they know they can trust. Very near Camden Lock and Camden Stables Market and perfect before, during, or after a day of exploring the shops and stalls of the area, Camden Brasserie is decorated in quirky wallpapers and mid-century style furniture. Food is modern European cuisine with a uniquely international touch, and dishes are available in both large and small portions. The menu has changed little over the years because the regulars complain when it does, though the fresh, seasonal specials are a delight. The friendly, professional service is locally famous and the whole Camden Brasserie experience is complemented by a fabulous wine list to linger over in comfort.

Ordered the crab cakes for starters and the rack of beef ribs with fries for two. The ribs were slightly different to what I had expected, as I thought it would be the type that is smothered by barbeque sauce, but turned out it was more of the roast type. Great peppercorn sauce though! Lovely food and good atmosphere in the restaurant. The service was very attentive and I will definitely go again.

Went to Camden Brasserie in Camden Town for lunch yesterday. The corn fed chicken and chips are as good today as they were 30 years ago when I first went there.

I went to The Camden Brasserie in London for lunch and on the whole I enjoyed the experience. My guest and I both had the burger and it was cooked to perfection and full of flavour.
