Really pleasantly surprised - good service, good food and a really nice atmosphere - would definitely recommend. we did the toptable deal and it was great value.
Food was ok but slightly overpriced for what it was, but still enjoyable. What ruined the evening for us was that although the restaurant was nearly empty, a large group of people on a work outing were sat right next to us when they could have pretty much be taken to any other part of the restaurant.
The Fish & Grill in Putney is a nice place to go for Sunday lunch. The food was very good which made up for the somewhat underwhelming service - not bad, just very slow!
Fish and Grill Putney: For some reason they didn't have a record of our booking, so we had to wait at the bar for out table to be made. Once seated it took a while to catch their attention so that we could get the set menu for the top table offer. Once all ordered however, the food was delicious. I completely recommend the whitebait as a starter, my steak was also cooked exactly as i had asked for. Mains do not come with anything so you to pay extra for a side.
