A firm favourite with the City’s big spenders, Caravaggio restaurant in London’s Leadenhall Street is a place suited to an important client lunch as well as a romantic dinner. Elegantly appointed in classic furnishings – the building was once a grand banking hall with soaring ceilings tall enough for a mezzanine level - this fine Italian restaurant has a pleasant ambience helped along by the staff who are not only friendly but very efficient too. Most of the creative Italian menu can be ordered at the bar and served in a hurry if you find yourself short on time. However, such is Caravaggio’s charm, you’ll be tempted to linger over the all-Italian wine list and take your time over sunshine-infused pasta dishes, or comforting risottos. If you need further convincing how about this - Caravaggio was opened by no less than famed Italian foodie and opera megastar Luciano Pavarotti.

Caravaggio was a pleasant experience, the starters and mains were high quality. The sides aren't worth ordering, though. Drinks are pricey (though not overly so for the area).
Two of us ate late lunch at Caravaggio. Did not do set as very limited choice, but went for 25% off food with two courses each (we had mains and desserts). Halibut main was spectacular, veal milanese fine. Pannacotta dessert ok, lemon cheesecake better. Lovely petits fours with coffee. Good wine list, great service. Get 20% off on website on total bill - better offer than set menue or 25% off food.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Caravagio, London. The service and food were both high quality. The 50% off food offer made the meal extremely good value for money. We will definitely be returning.
Caravaggio is a pleasant restaurant with dining on 2 levels. Food and service were good as was value given their 2 course offer. When on top level it's a lot of stairs to get to the toilet
