This was our second Dinner to the Dorchester Grill, Park Lane, London and we were not as happy with this visit. The sommelier pushed us towards a more expensive wine which was nothing exceptional and the staff generally had problems communicating with us in English This was far more marked than last time. The food was very good with interesting amuse-bouches between courses and petit fours at the end of the meal. The staff and service in the cocktail bar was again attentive and good.

Had a lovely meal at the dorchester on park lane, our set menu had 3 choices for each course and also the added bonus of an amuse bouche, pre-dessert and petit fours. Would definately go again- we were not treated any differently even though we were dining on a set menu.

This restaurant is gorgeous and the food was definitely great for the special offer price, however very dissapointed that we asked the sommelier for a wine recommendation at a cost of between £60 and £70 and when the bill came the cost of the wine was over £80. This put a bad taste in our mouth after such great service
