The Grill Dorchester we went last year and thought the food was better,
The Grill at The Dorchester is a stunning venue. Get there early enough for the special deal and it's likely to be a little empty and lacking in atmosphere. However, it soon filled up and the attendant waiting staff make for excellent company. All the food was delicious. Excellent Pollock, scallops and gnochi. The chef is clearly enjoying using foam (on most dishes) but this was a superb evening
The Grill at the Dorchester lived up to exactly what i expected, the food and service were both great. I felt very comfortable and i highly recommend it.
The service is great, everyone was very attentive. The ambience is nice, but a little too dark and can make you feel sleepy, but the great food makes up for it. It is not overly done and fancy, but toward rustic and hearthy. Really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back to try the tasting menu. Excellent desert (chocolate mousse)
We had a pleasant time at The Dorchester Grill. Good service, good food, lovely surroundings. We will go again.
