Mews is an excellent place for a girls night out. Lovely food in the restaurant upstairs with a good atmosphere and good service. Fab cocktails in the bar on the ground floor, the berry blazer is particularly good. Dancing in the lounge in the basement, it was a bit of a random mix of music but all good for a bit of a bop. The only downside is that it closes at 1. All in all a thoroughly good night.
The restaurant at Mews is the perfect size for an intimate meal for 2. The restaurant feels cosy yet with the cream/white decor it's light, bright and airy. Great bar downstairs for an aperitif before dinner with loads of atmosphere and often crowded. The food was excellent; smoked duck to start and the venison and pheasant as main courses. Both good size, perfectly cooked, tasty and beautifully presented. The service was friendly (if not a little inattentive at times) but a great experience.

A very special evening to celebrate a successful exam result with close friends. Such a perfect evening, pre dinner drinks in the bar, gorgeous cocktails. Then upstairs to the restaurant. The ambiance of Mews was perfect for the evening I was hoping for. The service attentive and my guests and I all felt very relaxed and not rushed with our sitting. First course, followed by main were all delicious, and good portions as we had very hungry gents with us! Highly recommend for a special occasion.
