Celebrating British art and food, Hix at The Albemarle at Mayfair Brown's Hotel drips with style with original wood panelling on which artworks by Tracey Emin and Rankin hang. Behind the scenes, celebrated chef Mark Hix has put his recognisable stamp on the menu created by Executive Chef Marcus Verbernel. You can expect glamorous dining with a very British twist to create dishes such as Brown's double port sausage with mashed potato and onion gravy or deep-fried Looe Bay squid with shaven fennel, radish and caper salad. Menus are updated every week as they only use the best British seasonal ingredients.

Hix at the Albermarle in London was a real treat! It was booked on the recommendation of my younger son who had been there many times and told me that it was "one of the best places in London for lunch". So I decided to treat my two brothers who always seem to find special places to eat . The set menu had a good choice of starter, mains and desserts (lamb included for the mains) and the service was absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to go back! Thank you to all the staff for a special meal.
Lovely setting, brilliant service and atmosphere and that distinctively unique Hix food. Couldn't be better.
Absolute fiasco in the billing. We didn't get out 25% discount. They charged us double for everything (3 people and it didn't surprise them to see 6 main courses on the bill?!) and only refunded us the overcharge. You'd have thought out of embarrassment the service charge would have been removed. Food was good but not memorable. Service is pleasant, but I've rated them badly because of that billing muck up. Being seated right at the entrance didn't help the ambiance of the place either!
Had a wonderful evening at Hix, food was great as was the service would definitely recommend a visit!!!!
