Sri Nam

About Sri Nam

A destination restaurant on the well-established Canary Wharf dining scene, Sri Nam is a theatrical Thai restaurant on Cabot Square that attracts a glamorous mix of city and media. Voted “Best Restaurant in the Wharf” by Wharf Magazine readers, there is always a 30-something crowd here jostling for tables, and the lively vibe is perfect for high-profile catch-ups, meetings, lunch dates and parties. Only a stone’s throw from the Canary Wharf station, regulars flock to Sri Nam for favourites like the slow-cooked organic pork with star anise and the chilled rice pudding with chopped mango, and wine buffs appreciate the short, well-edited wine list that covers both the new and old world. There are plenty of salads for calorie counters and sharing platters for parties, and the atmospheric setting, convenient address and helpful service have helped to make Sri Nam a bit of a Canary Wharf institution. Top tip: book early.

The meal did not start particularly well with slow service and the tables being extremely close together, even though the other side of the restaurant was free. However, the food was to an excellent standard and the service did improve. Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to in London with regards to the quality of food and well worth a visit.

I went to Sri Nam in Canary Wharf for lunch this week. As always the food was excellent. You have to try the black cod with pepper. Other food was good too. We had vegetable spring roll, aubegine, roti, pad thai and pork and prawn dim sim. All excellent.

Sri Nam, Canary Wharf - I was a little apprehensive about my booking. I booked further to reviews on TT but a colleague mentioned that when he went it wasn't very good. However, I found the service to be of a high standard and the food to be tasty. It was fairly busy for a Tuesday evening, which helped create an atmosphere. I would definitely recommend.

A friend and I met at Sri Nam Canary Wharf for an after work catch up over dinner. The food here is lovely, and the service is very attentive. I am definitely returning - again.
