Levant
About Levant
Levant restaurant in London's West End is so much more than a Middle Eastern eaterie. Nestled between bustling Oxford Street and Marylebone High Street, it transports you via a unique experience to more exotic lands. The interior of this ultra-atmospheric restaurant and Mezze Lounge are decked out in bold colours with sensuous fabrics and authentic details, softly lit and saturated with the aroma of gently-burning incense. The authentic Lebanese menus – from mezze to grilled fish, meat and fresh salads – offer a myriad of spices, textures and flavours. Belly dancers perform every evening to add to Levant's sensory treat, and at weekends a resident DJ samples Arabic beats until the early hours.

Did the TT offer but we were full after the starters!
A little tricky to find, but worth it. Fixed price £28/head menu excellent value. The starters/meze plates were excellent. Mains not as tender as we might have hoped. Gavi stunning. For the wine and starters we'll be back.
Visited Levant in London, had a good time, food was as expected and service amicable.
Our first visit to Levant in London was really enjoyable: great food, very attentive service and quite atmospheric. Two tips: look at the map very carefully before you go - it's easy to miss Jason Court; pace yourself on the starters if you chooser one of the feasts. We had the meat feast, which included a selection of cold and hot mezze (starters). Extremely tempting but then we could not do full justice to the main course - equally varied and tasty.
As ever, the food at Levant (near Bond St in London) was lovely. A vegetarian, I always find Lebanese a safe choice and have taken many people to Levant. The venue is gorgeous. Intimate, Arabian feel. But once again the service was woeful. It's not the first time this has happened; we have been several times. But won't be going back again. Sad to say, it's not the experience it once was. Better Lebanese restaurants in London. And the novelty of the bellydancing has well and truly worn off.
