Luxurious and elegant, the Michelin starred Semplice is the brainchild of chef Marco Torri and manager Giovanni Baldino who have taken Italian dining to a new level. In the warm, intimate dining room the patrons of Ristorante Semplice enjoy authentic Italian food with a gourmet twist. Indeed the Semplice team pride themselves not only on creating sophisticated food but on using fine ingredients, 60% of which come directly from small scale regional Italian producers. The result is heavenly, award winning food which is traceable and supports the continuation of the Italian food producing community.

lovely ambience and charming staff, the best risotto and some yummy bread..
Ristorante Semplice in London is a good place to go for a quiet dinner with top quality food. Service is discreet and the restaurant has a very grown-up ambience. The food is delicious - the pasta, the lamb, the lemon sole and the veal all were highly rated by our table. Fresh ingredients and a creative flair is what make this restaurant that notch above, earning it its one Michelin star. We will be back!
Greeting and service throughout the meal was good. We both had the conchigle starter with aubergine and tomatoes; came with rigatoni, apparently the conchigle had not been delivered. It was fine. Partner had the cod dish which she enjoyed; I had the beef rump which came with just a few lightly dressed leaves; it was fine, nice bit of meat but too simple. There were no tasters 'compliments of the chef' or anything to demonstrate their one star rating. Lacked the passion one might expect.
Ristorante Semplice is one of my favourites lunch spots. The 3 course menu is great value with and excellent selection for each course. There are also some super Italian wines that I find good value.
Semplice provides consistent and reliable Italian cooking of the highest standard, in very luxurious surroundings. Tagliatelle con ragu di lepre was outstanding. Desserts disappointed, however - mostly variations on chocolate. Marked down on service, although charming, because a few times I found myself with an empty glass and the wine bottle out of reach on a service table. Also plates were not piping hot when they arrived, so some delay on the way up from the kitchen.
