About Brickhouse

Set in London's iconic Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane, this dynamic restaurant and performance supper-club attracts a chic and creative young crowd. The Brickhouse is set in a minimalist space with vast skylights over three levels, with four plush beds on the top level, booths and private dining on the first floor, and a bar area on the ground floor. With regular DJs, burlesque performers and live acts – you will always find the perfect accompaniment to your meal. The eclectic modern menu is superb, we recommend the Rump of Lamb with purple potatoes, spring onions and creamy polenta, served with lamb jus. The Brickhouse also has a deluxe cocktail list.

We went brickhouse in Shorditch for a birthday meal. The menu looked great but the food didn't live up to the expectation at all the entertainment was quite funny though. The most disapointing thing was the £8 cocktails which contained 90% ice and hardly any cocktail!

Menu very limited and uninspiring, but had high hopes for the execution but was very let down. Food more like a works canteen and entertainment pretty average. Waiting staff were very good best bit Jane's amazing comedy dance set at the end (excellent)

We selected the cheaper of the two fixed menus. The food was lovely although the choice was very limited. The chef adapted the main course to suit which was very good. We really didn't like the cabaret and resented the addition to the price, which was already at the expensive end for a fixed menu on a weekday night. There was also a compulsory service charge.

I went to the Brickhouse on a date and it was the perfect venue and a great talking point. I had been before but I didn't enjoy the entertainment as much as the previous time. The food is good and the staff are really polite and attentive - would recommend.

The Brickhouse is a hidden gem in the hustle and bustle of Brick Lane. We didn't know about the cabaret entertainment, so were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is well laid out, food is very appealing on the eye and palette (esp with 50% off) and staff were excellent. We will definitely be returning.
