Piccolo Diavolo

About Piccolo Diavolo

Situated right in the very centre of London’s Soho on the infamous Old Compton Street, Piccolo Diavolo is a well established trattoria style Italian restaurant and pizzeria within easy reach of Theatreland – ideal for pre- and post-theatre dining. Part of the Biagio restaurant group, Piccolo Diavolo follows the brand principles of good, authentic Italian food cooked using only quality fresh ingredients and always right here on the premises. A wide range of typical dishes are found on the menu, ranging from light but delicious salads to hearty meat dishes and, of course, authentic pizzas, all followed up by typically indulgent, naughty desserts. With its atmospheric interior complete with ceiling hung Chianti bottles, potted plants and bud vases on each table, Piccolo Diavolo takes its lead from the most old fashioned story-book style Italian eateries, providing its visitors with both an authentic Italian dining experience and a central Soho buzz all at once.

A great little restaurant close to Palace Theatre. Very friendly and lovely tasty food at reasonable prices - will definitely be going there again!

Cute place, but service disappointing! We told them we only had an hour before our show. First course came fast, but second course we had to leave before it was served. We weren't the only table. If you have a show go to this restaurant afterwards.

We ate here before going to see Jersey Boys for a matinee. The food was ok, but I would like to try out some of the other restaurants nearby. The staff was very nice and fun to be around. I am curious to know if they make their own pasta as the quality was average.

We booked after the theater and we were a little rushed. However the food was good but the whole place could do with an update.

Piccolo Diavolo Old Compton Street London Cosy restaurant but a little worn around the edges! Staff were efficient but not particularly chatty. Food was sustaining and the Montepulciano was unexpectedly good. We weren't rushed at the end of the meal to leave our table.
