My friend and I went to Beach Blanket Babylon in Shoreditch on Thursday 9th Feb. We both really enjoyed the venue, the decor and ambience was fab! We found the 3 course set menu to be fantastic value with the toptable deal. The beef main course was delicious and very tender and the cocktails were scrummy especially the lychee and chilli martini, would definitely recommend a visit!
Beach Blanket Babylon in Shoreditch was just ok. Took advantage of the 50% discount on the set menu which was limited, & the chicken main was a little bland and needed an accompaniment like rice. That said, although the al a carte menu was very pricey the oyster starter was nice. There are better value & quality restaurants out there (esp. for those that like spicy food), but this venue is good for starters, desserts, cocktails and service. Toilet handryer broken & no replacement towels.

Beach Blanket Babylon, Shoreditch, London: Service was very good and attentive until the restaurant got busy, when it then took us over 30 minutes to get out bill! We didn't get the bill until 10:05, when we were told we only had the table until 9pm - a little bit silly. Also, as night went on, music got louder and louder. Having said that, the food was great though, and the 50% off the 3 course menu made it incredible value.
Went to Beach Blanket Babylon last night and had a thoroughly enjoyable meal, the service was attentive and made us feel welcome, the ambance was nice with the relaxed dining room to the rear overlooking the bar. The food was nicely presented, well cooked and a the beef was slow cooked to perfection and fell apart like it should! I highly recommend this place especially with the 50% off, a great deal for some mid week dining.
