The Terrace Restaurant
About The Terrace Restaurant
Part of the luxurious Meridien hotel in Piccadilly, The Terrace Restaurant is light, spacious and elegant, and excellently placed if you’re out exploring London’s West End. With its glass ceiling and walls, the dining room offers great views across central London. The noise and bustle of Piccadilly might be just below you, but the restaurant combines classical elegance with an understated contemporary look to produce a feeling of calm. The Terrace Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, serving up an appealing range of European influenced dishes. The a la carte menu features starters, a selection of ‘signature’ and ‘from the grill’ mains, as well as some sumptuous desserts. There’s also a good value set menu on offer. Afternoon tea is served every day on the terrace - a truly civilised affair - and there are a number of teas to choose from, and champagne if you’re feeling decadent.

The Terrace was average, and almost forgetable. Ambience was fine, especially overlooking the city, but the food lacked the usual depth we expect in French restaurants. Without the special offer, I'm not sure I'd return for a while. Service was pretty good though.
The Terrace Restaurant. Le Meridien Hotel, London: Food was excellent and reasonably priced for top quality. Service was a little weak compared to the food but not to the point of annoying - just slow at times. Overall I thought it was great deal and everyone enjoyed what they ordered.
Dined at The Terrace last night at the Le Meridien Hotel, Piccadilly Circus. Very nice location (in a huge conservatory) with a very nice view. The food was excellent, the service satisfactory (they forgot to serve the starter). Good atmosphere. Can't comment on the drinks as I'm teetotal. Went for a drink to the bar on the lower ground floor which was also quite nice.
le meridien hotel, picadilly. as expected at the top of a hotel newly converted terrace area. large over welcoming area. staff sparse and service hit and miss. oysters good value slightly warm. lobster fantastic! steak over cooked (medium rare) dry, would not recommend their steak election. brocolli side hard/plain. chips fab! roof leaked onto us during dinner - moved to lounge area and forgotten about! cocktails ridiculously expensive! average quality with top table deal
I had a beautiful meal at the Terrace Restaurant on Piccadilly with three friends. The surroundings are impressive - we watched the snow fall through the floor-to-ceiling windows - and the service was attentive without being overbearing. That said, I'd never eat there without the TopTable deal - the a la carte is very expensive.
