Toptable says about Aubaine

The success of South Kensington's Aubaine restaurant has birthed a second of the celebrated French bistros off Regent Street. Now, the renowned macaroons and other authentic French dishes served in Aubaine's homely surroundings will be available to the shoppers also, who might find that with Aubaine located over two floors, open from 8.30am 'til midnight and offering charming alfresco dining on Heddon Street, in true Parisian style, that there might not be much need for shopping at all. Pastries for breakfast, salads at lunch and classic French brasserie dishes for dinner are all served in a restaurant soaked in natural light through its large windows. Bask in it as you sit on rustic French furniture, mixed splendidly with an urban industrial touch.

Aubaine on Heddon Street is definitely a nice bistrot in London with good, tasty food in good portions (not too big, not too small). Especially their set menu is good value for money.

I would recommend this to anyone around that area who wants to eat some truly good food in avoiding the touristic hotspots.
