Aubaine Heddon Street

About Aubaine Heddon Street

‘A French Revolution in London’s all day dining scene’, Aubaine, centrally located on Heddon Street in the West End really does offer the best in relaxed, elegant dining from breakfast through to dinner. From the moment you walk in to this quaint deli-style restaurant, you’ll be struck by the laid back feel of the place, its customers sipping coffee while they read the morning papers, gossiping with friends over languid lunches or giggling their way through a romantic Parisian style dinner. During the day, light floods in and Aubaine buzzes with life, especially on those sunny days when the doors are thrown back and visitors spill out on to the terrace. And then, at night, the dining room becomes cosier, still informal but with a special occasion vibe. Food to savour, Aubaine’s menus are full of flavour and charm, rustic, homemade and colourful with a zingy Mediterranean slant and truly offering something for everybody. The wide selection of French and international wines is a fine foil to dinners while the freshly brewed coffees partner crisp, flaky croissants perfectly.

Rather dull. Had the mussels - over cooked. The pork belly was okay. Just not inspiring .

Our meal at Aubaine last night was very nice. Only 2 choices per course though. Salad to start with walnuts and pear was really delicious; very tasty dressing and the bread was lovely with it. Pheasant was quite salty and there was a piece of shot in it. My friend's moules frites were also very good. I would recommend but there isn't much atmosphere in the restaurant although its a lovely environment and style.
