Toptable says about Soho Thai

This cosy branch of the popular Thai Square chain does exactly what it says on the tin. A forever-busy Thai restaurant on a small street connecting Wardour and Dean Streets, it's more often than not packed with jolly crowd too busy chatting, eating and having a good time to care much about the rather basic décor. A consistently good menu is based on an affordable assembly of pan-fried dishes, curries and reliable noodle dishes such as pad Thai and a particularly tasty gang mussamun (with potatoes and peanuts). Highlights of a strong veggie selection include a sweet n' satisfying toa hoo pad khing (pan fried bean curd). Service is genuinely friendly. Top choice for a quick good value bite.

bustling thai in the middle of soho - the food is quite standard but service quite swift so it is good for a pre-night out meal with friends.

Soho Thai is a fairly cheap and cheerful restaurant. It got very busy on Friday evening so a booking is definitely recommended. Due to how busy it was, and our table being close to the door, we had to ask for the door to be closed as the cue of people waiting to be seated was so long the front door was kept open. All in all, good standard affordable food. I'd go again, but would try and get a table further inside the restaurant.

Soho Thai is great value for money & the food is excellent. The staff are very attentive. The place deco is basic & the place is quite small but the service & food made up for this. The down side was when a loud crowd were in you couldn't hear others very well & the loos aren't great. But I'd highly recommend it you just have to hope a noisy crowd aren't in!

The restaurant's main area looked fantastic and had a good ambience. Unfortunately we were put out in the back area where it was cold and we had to ask for the heat to be put on. However food was great - one of the best Thais I've had.

Another great meal at Soho Thai, good food, very affordable and rapid service. The place was packed, always a good sign - we were turfed off our table after 2 hours which was annoying but understandable given the restaurant's popularity. Got some free jasmine tea too! :)
