Romantic Lebanese restaurant - delicious traditional food served by equally delicious looking waiters. Lebanese food is best eaten with a few of you, so you can order several of the dishes and try a selection. What's cooking? Tabouleh (parsley salad), fatayel nayeh (raw minced lamb with spices), hummous, makanek ghanam (fried Lebanese sausages).

decent environment and pretty good Lebanese food. We will go back. The only minor problems is that sometimes tables are a bit too close to each other and space is tight.

Yesterday we had dinner at the Alwaha. Great food, but the venue is too small for the number of tables they have, which made it a little uncomfortable.

Alwaha is good value for money and the environment is nice and relaxed.

Food was excellent and service good, definitely one of the best lebanese restaurants I've tried.

Don't go there if you need the latest fashionable place, go there if you are interest in good food at fair price.

The food was lovely, but a bit on the pricey side and the tables crammed into a very small space - we could hear the neighbours' conversation like our own. The service was not particularly friendly and a bit pushy - we had to order a minimum of six mezze between two of us. The total bill for six mezze, one glass of wine, a bottle of water and two tea came to £60 - not exactly cheap. Would not go back despite the good quality of the food.

Al Waha probably serves the best Lebanese food in London. Two of us had Egyptian roots and the third member of our party has Iraqui origins and have often been disappointed with the quality and price of Middle Eastern food in London. Not here! The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, the service is prompt and friendly, the portions are plentiful and the food fresh and very well cooked. We will return and recommend to others!
