Toptable says about Mimosa Bar & Restaurant

Mimosa forms part of the ground floor of the multi-million pound renovation of the Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel in Knightsbridge. A stylish bar leads to the sophisticated restaurant where pale lemon leather seating and matching menus hint sunnily at the Mediterranean menu. When the sun is actually out, diners can eat outside on the small terrace overlooking leafy Lowndes Square. Signature dishes include a grilled scallops marinated in lime with a spicy chilli cucumber and tomato salsa, followed by chicken breast stuffed with sun-blushed tomatoes and pesto, with a taleggio polenta and a citrus cream foam.

Mimosa Bar and Restaurant is a really nice venue. Conveniently located at a lovely area. The staff are very attentive, friendly and courteous. The meal was really delicious. Definitely a place to return another day.

We went to Mimosa under the 50% off deal. The atmosphere was more hotel than destination restaurant, which was slightly disappointing but the food really was very good. Prices were high, so value for money only achieved through the half price deal of toptable. Not sure I'd go again, but I did enjoy the food.

The Mimosa restaurant was neawrly empty when I went for lunch with a friend. The menu was expensive and even with 50 per cent off it was not cheap. My seabass was delicious but it was a very small portion. I had a warm chocolate fondant with ice cream for dessert which was lovely. But the main courses were very disappointing. My friend had a glass of house wine which cost £6 for a not very large glass. Mimosa will never fill up until it reviews its pricing and portion sizel

Nice atmosphere - intimate. Good professional service - formal but not stuffy.

All our dishes were well presented and very enjoyable. Would recommend.

In terms of price - with Top Table bearable, but overpriced at full cost

The Mimosa restaurant and grill was good value with the discount offer but I am not sure that I would want to pay the full price. The restaurant itself was pleasant but was fairly empty and lacked atmosphere. The drilling going outside on the pavement didn't help. Having said that, the meal itself was enjoyable and I would go back if I was in the area.
